Phil is passionate about climate and environmental issues and had an ambition to reduce his carbon footprint and stop using fossil fuels. He had previously installed double glazing. So he applied to the government warmer homes website and gained access to a government grant to carry out a full retrofit.
Phil’s is the first home in his development to carry out this project and his neighbours are very interested in how the project develops. Come and see how it turned out, what applying for the grant involved, what the contractors were like, how the whole process unfolded and the net reults from someone who has just lived it.
