Ralph and Suki had some clear aims for their Detached, 4 bed, 1999 home in Cambourne:
- To provide heating that was more flexible and tailored to their needs better than gas central heating with radiators.
- To make their house more resilient to possible power cuts and heatwaves!
- To reduce their energy bills: 75% reduction achieved
- To cut their carbon footprint: 90 % reduction achieved
To make this happen, they’ve improved their home with:
- 3.6kWp of PV,
- a home battery
- smart controls
- ev charging
- an Air to Air heat pump, which also provides hot water!
