CCVS – Cambridge Centre for Voluntary Services
Online information sheets, including setting up and running a community group. Templates, including constitution and common policies. Free and low cost training. Great source of local support. Recommend picking up the phone if you get stuck.

MyCommunity
Great source of information for all local community groups. Linked is a guide on choosing the right legal structure for your group.

NCVO – National Council for Voluntary Organisations
Comprehensive resources on anything you might need as a charitable organisation. If you’re ever looking for information on how to do something it’s worth looking here. Linked above is their guide to setting up a governing document, but their other resources are great too (e.g. guide on choosing a legal structure, fundraising methods, fundraising myths).
