Leadership Transition at Cambridge Carbon Footprint

Announcing Our New General Manager, Siobhan Mellon

We’re thrilled to announce that Siobhan Mellon will be joining Cambridge Carbon Footprint as our new General Manager this November. Siobhan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CCF, having previously managed the multi-faith Akashi Project with us in the early days of our organisation. Since then, Siobhan’s commitment to sustainability has led her to a pivotal role as South Cambridgeshire District Council’s first Climate Change Officer, where she developed strategies for climate action and biodiversity across the district. She recently completed a Masters in Regenerative Economics at Schumacher College, deepening her expertise in community energy and transformative, community-driven change.

Siobhan has long been an enthusiastic supporter of CCF’s work and often refers to CCF as “a brilliant organisation that punches well above its weight.” We’re excited to see how Siobhan’s vision will guide us in creating new opportunities and partnerships as we continue working towards a more sustainable Cambridgeshire. Welcome, Siobhan!

A Heartfelt Thank-You to Alana Sinclair

As we welcome Siobhan, we’re also saying goodbye to our Manager Alana Sinclair, who will be returning to Australia after 12 at Cambridge Carbon Footprint supporting and shaping change. Under Alana’s stewardship, CCF has grown significantly, expanding our reach and developing impactful initiatives like Net Zero Now Climate Leadership Training. Alana’s warmth, professionalism, and commitment to CCF’s mission have left a lasting mark on everyone she has worked with, from volunteers to partners across the community.

We know that Alana’s impact will continue beyond her time with us, and we’re incredibly grateful for her dedication and hard work over the years. Thank you, Alana—we wish you all the best in Australia and look forward to seeing the continued impact of your work there.

As we enter this new chapter, we are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to continuing this journey of collaboration, innovation, and community-driven change with all of you.
