Histon is known for its giant swishes and the next one is on the horizon, scheduled for Sat 7th Nov at St Andrew’s Centre. There will be two halls, with Hall 2 being run by and for young people from the Histon & Impington Youth Eco Council and 1st Histon Guides. Hall 1 will be for men’s and women’s clothes, shoes and accessories and there will also be free sewing repairs on offer! No need to book for repairs, just come along.
All items brought along for swapping should be clean and in good condition. Please drop off your clothes at midday for swapping to start at 12:45pm. Whilst you wait for clothes to be sorted, you can visit the Histon and Impington Sustainability Group and Histon and Impington Green Space’s stall and enjoy refreshments with friends and neighbours. The Histon Swish really is an event that brings the community together to help the environment whilst saving money too!
All are welcome and it’s free to join in though donations will be gratefully received.
