Why recycle when you can repair? We’ll be joining repair groups around the world on 17th Oct, International Repair Day, to help fix people’s broken stuff and share repair skills.
Our International Repair Day Repair Café will be held in St. Andrew’s Church Hall in Chesterton, Cambridge.
Experienced Cambridge Repair Cafe volunteers will work together with volunteers from local company Sentec – a Xylem Brand – to help fix your broken and worn toys and gadgets, jewellery, clothes, electricals and all sorts of household items. We’ll do our best to fix your item but if we can’t, we’ll try and suggest a next step.
We strongly recommend booking your item in advance – this enables us to do background research and make sure we have the most appropriately skilled repairer working on your item. We’ll keep a few walk-in repair slots for the day, and will do our best to fit your item in if you are unable to book in advance.
Bookings will open in September.
