Buckden PC Repair Cafe

Buckden Repair Café will be back on June 7th. This time we hope to include a clothes swap event too (more details below). If you are having a “Spring Clean” and find something in need of fixing, please don’t throw it out but bring it along to the Repair Café where our repairers will try to fix it for FREE!

We welcome small household appliances, electrical and electronic items, computers, mobiles, jewellery, sharpening and mending garden tools, clothes, wooden items, gadgets, bicycles & more – just e-mail us with the details and we’ll see if we can find someone to look at your item. The Café is open to everyone, whether you have something to mend or not, so why not join us for a cuppa and a piece of delicious home-made cake or scone, jam and cream or something savoury if that’s more to your taste.

We also run a small plant stall and welcome donations of pot plants, seedlings, unused but still viable packets of seeds, etc.

Our Clothes Swap will run in parallel with the Repair Café. We will be asking for donations of good quality clothing in exchange for the opportunity to swap it for something new to you. So, if you are sorting out clothing before buying something new for the summer, perhaps give our Clothes Swap a whirl rather than put it in a charity bag or the clothing bank.
