Exciting stall at Eat Cambridge!

Cambridge Carbon Footprint is one of the organisations involved in the big EAT_2Cambridge Sustainable Food stall at the main event of the wildly successful Eat Cambridge Festival at the Corn Exchange, CB2 3QT. (Thousands of people attended this event last year.) CCF is hosting Cambridge Sustainable Food, which has done quite a lot in its first four months of existence, including launching a sustainable food charter and forming a Sustainable Food Hub group, with a Food WasteGroup and a  Healthy and Sustainable Diets group soon to follow.

As well as lots of information, recipes, tips on dealing with food waste, quizzes and give-away compost caddies, there will be a programme of free food tastings and demonstrations throughout the day, with lots of ideas you can take home. More information to follow! Bev will be giving a talk on sustainable food at 2pm.

You can see the full Eat Cambridge programme here, both for the main event on 17th May and for the fantastic range of food events from 10th – 24th May all around Cambridge.
