Most of us want to do something about climate change. But why do we often fail to take action? Why does it seem difficult to adopt a lower carbon lifestyle? Picking up on this years Science Festival theme, this workshop invites participants to reflect on the patterns and structures in our feelings, habits and social settings, which stand in the way of a more sustainable lifestyle. Would changing them be unpleasant and puritanical? Or might it be enjoyable and fulfilling? The workshop gives a taste of Carbon Conversations, a series of six engaging meetings to help you halve your carbon footprint.
