Carbon Conversations – Cambridge courses

Next round of Carbon Conversations groups start soon!

Join the community of over 500 local people who have taken part in a group. Learn how to reduce your carbon footprint in a friendly, informative and supportive atmosphere.

Each group meets 6 times, usually at fortnightly intervals.  Details for January 2012:

Alpha Rd group: Wednesdays, 7.30-9.30 fortnightly, starting on 18th January 2012  One space left

Trumpington group: Tuesdays fortnightly, 7.30-9.30, beginning 31st January 2012.  This group will be meeting in The Bakehouse   Spaces available

Fulbourn Manor group: Meetings will take place on Thursdays fortnightly, 7.30-9.30pm, starting on January 12th 2012  Closed

Transition Cambridge group: Hills Rd, Cambridge, Thursdays 7.30-9.30pm beginning on 19th January 2012.  This group is open to anyone involved with Transition Cambridge Full

U3A group: Thursdays 10.00 – 12.30, beginning 19th January 2012.  This group is open to all members of the University of the Third Age.  Details here.  (NOTE: we will not be charging the usual £15 for this group, because of the U3A membership fee. There will be a small additional charge for the handbook)

Cost: £15 which includes:

  • 128-page A4 colour course handbook
  • the opportunity to borrow books and equipment
  • membership of our ongoing Low Carbon Network
