Tristram Stuart: the food waste scandal (EAT Festival)

St Paul’s, Hills Rd, Tristram EAT logo
Cambridge, CB2 1JP

We’re very excited that Tristram Stuart, the charismatic global food waste champion, founder of Feed Back (which includes Feeding the 5000, The Pig Idea and The Gleaning Network) is coming to Cambridge to talk about the global food waste scandal and what can be done about it. He’s a great speaker (see his TED talk here) and if you haven’t read his book `’Food Waste: the global food scandal”, we’d recommend it. To accompany Tristram’s talk there will be short presentations from local food waste organisations: Food Cycle; the City Council Food Waste Team and more. Cambridge Sustainable Food will also be launching the local Love Food Hate Waste campaign that evening. There will be delicious nibbles made from food that would otherwise be wasted, provided by Food Cycle team.

This is a free event. No booking required. Not to be missed!
