Histon is known for its giant swishes and the next one is on the horizon, scheduled for Sat 8th Nov at St Andrew’s Centre. There will be two halls, with Hall 2 being run by and for young people from local youth eco-groups. Hall 1 will be for men’s and women’s clothes, shoes and accessories and there will also be free sewing repairs on offer!
All items brought along for swapping should be clean and in good condition. Please drop off your clothes at midday for swapping to start at 12:45pm. Whilst you wait for clothes to be sorted, you can visit Histon and Impington Sustainability Group’s stall and enjoy refreshments with friends and neighbours. The Histon Swish really is an event that brings the community together to help the environment whilst saving money too!
All are welcome and it’s free to join in though donations will be gratefully received.
