Meet your hosts, Iain & Judith

We purchased our detached three-floor home in 2010, a property built in 1990. From the beginning, we had a strong interest in making our home more environmentally friendly. Over the past 14 years, we have undertaken a series of eco-renovations aimed at reducing our fossil fuel consumption and making our home more comfortable.

Our motivations for these extensive renovations stem from a commitment to environmental sustainability and a desire to invest in both the property and the planet. We believe that our efforts not only contribute to a better environment but also enhance our quality of life.

“We’ve always been interested in eco-renovations and making our home as energy-efficient as possible. Our property is certainly more comfortable now” – Iain & Judith

So far we have been very happy with the improvements we have made through the years, and it has been a great journey of learning, leading me (Iain) to become more connected with Cambridge Carbon Footprint and to take up a position on the board of Trustees.
