Would you like a new Christmas jumper this year but don’t want to spend the money? Keen not to add to the fast fashion problem and your carbon footprint? Then how about digging out your unwanted jumper in good, clean condition and swap it for one that’s ‘new to you’. There will be an adult and children’s rail outside the Elf Repair Cafe in the Grand Arcade (if you’d like to take an item along to be repaired by our very talented repairing elves, please see the listing here).
Aline and Mary from CCF’s Outreach Team will be hosting the rails and manning our sustainable living advice stall. Please do stop and have a chat with them while you select this year’s jingly, joyful, festive knit!
This Christmas Jumper Swish is part of CCF’s contribution to the Grand Arcade’s ‘Let’s Go Circular’ initiative. You’ll find us outside Mrs Claus’ Grotto, next to The White Company on the first floor of The Grand Arcade.
