Cambridgeshire Repair Cafe Network Forum

Cambridgeshire Repair Cafe Network Forum

Sat 8 Jun 2024, 2:30pm – 5:30pm

This year marks 10 years since Repair Cafes were established in Cambridgeshire. We will be marking the occasion by asking Cambridgeshire Repair Cafe organisers and repairers to come together for a Forum to celebrate our achievements and set our priorities going ahead. As our network grows, there are more-and-more opportunities to build new connections and become more ambitious in pooling our skills and resources to reach more people through new projects. At the same time, we need to nurture our existing network, with its proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for the communities that we serve.

This is a chance to:

  • Take stock and celebrate what we have collectively achieved over the last 10 years
  • Meet other organisers and repairers near you and have the time to discuss dates and other logistics in local break-out groups
  • Hear about the UK Repair Declaration from Fiona Dear, Co-Director of the Restart Project
  • Give feedback on the network and make suggestions for additional support
  • Set the strategic priorities for the network going forward

We hope to unveil our community quilt at the event. There will be cake and many good people!

This Forum is by invite only. Please book your place by using the link shared in the Repair Cafe Network newsletter. If you would like to join us, and are not currently on our list, or have lost the link to the sign up form, please email repairnetwork@cambridgecarbonfootprint.org.
