One year on and we are still going, every bit as enthusiastic to reduce waste and save folks money as when we started. Please join us to do our little bit to prevent useful items being sent to landfill. Our small band of dedicated repairers are happy to take a look at most items that you can bring to the Village Hall e.g. small household appliances and gadgets, electrical items, toys, computers, bicycles, mobiles, jewellery, clocks, garden tools (sharpening too), clothing (alterations, zips, buttons), curtains altered too, wooden items, picture frames, etc. Sorry we can’t guarantee success but our repairers will do their best. Repairs are FREE but we do welcome donations to help cover costs and are very grateful to all those who have supported us so far.
The Café is open to everyone, whether you’ve got something to mend or not, so why not join us for a cuppa and piece of home-made cake or a scone and jam or something savoury if that’s more to your taste? Sorry but we don’t have a card reader so café sales will be cash only.
