Sun 1 Jun 2025, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Join us for an unforgettable day where history, technology, and poetry collide!
As part of our Broken Tech, Broken Earth project, the Centre for Computing History is inviting you to explore the emotional weight of our digital past through the power of spoken word. This special event transforms the Centre for Computing History’s collection into a stage for voices that reflect on our relationship with technology—its failures, its futures, and its impact on the planet. We will be organising performances with prizes up for grabs for families and anyone interested in participating. The best poems will also be displayed as part of our collection in the museum!
Expect raw emotion, thoughtful reflection, and community creativity as we reimagine our tech through rhythm, rhyme, and rebellion.
