Role title: Admin Volunteer
Reporting to: Alana Sinclair (The Manager)
Principle function: To help ensure the smooth running of the charity by completing admin tasks.
Expenses: Agreed in advance
Location: CCF Offices
Days and hours: Flexible but ideally 1.5 to 3 days a week preferred. Prefer full days but negotiable.
Duration: Ongoing but at least a 3 month commitment preferred if possible
Description of the Role
  • Help compile monthly newsletter
  • Create posters, flyers, website content, social media posts etc
  • To list events on our website using WordPress (training provided)
  • To monitor and redirect queries into our inbox
  • To register people who book for events
  • Archive events and photos into folders
  • Help tidy and update records and data
  • Update docs and ensure contacts/logo up to date
  • Add new people to mailing list
  • Monitor, write up and record post event feedback
  • Ensure volunteer records are up to date
  • Help compile event packs
  • Checking and ordering stationary and office supplies when needed

Skills and/or qualifications and experience required: 
  • Experience in using Word and Excel
  • Good English, written and spoken
  • Good attention to detail
Training required and support offered:
  • CCF Volunteer Induction
  • 1:1 training with office staff on using the systems, accessing the drives, and programmes we use
  • Training in using WordPress if needed/wanted to write webpages
Any additional notes or information: This role offers the possibility to branch out into areas of interest, for example helping out on and/or leading ad hoc projects
