Sawston Repair Cafe - Toolkit 2

Sawston Repair Cafe – Toolkit 2

Sat 18 Nov 2023, 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Bring along your broken item and a skilled volunteer will help you fix it!  We can tackle a wide variety of repairs including clothes and fabrics, electrical and electronic devices, sewing machines and other items.  Please note that we will not be able to replace cracked screens on phones or tablets. The repairers are brilliant and can fix a lot of things but there are no guarantees.

(If you have a bicycle which needs attention, you don’t have to wait till this event – you can bring it to one of the weekly Dr Bike Stapleford workshops held each Tuesday afternoon from 3pm – 5:30pm at the Old Slaughterhouse on Church Street in Stapleford).

Please book your item in from Sunday 29th October until Monday 13th November, using the following link:

Booking is highly recommended to avoid a long wait on the day, and to make things fair we politely request only one item per person.  We ask all repairees to read and sign our repair agreement as we are all volunteers.

It’s a free event but donations are very welcome. Tea and cake will be available of course!

If you have any questions, please email

Organised by 2G3S (Green Groups in Shelford, Stapleford and Sawston).
