This is the first seminar in the Ambition to Action series. This session will you better understand your organisation’s environmental impact and how to calculate your carbon footprint.

• Pulling together your organisations baseline: monitoring your gas, electricity, water and other resource usage (what information you need to calculate your footprint)
• How to convert your baseline information into your carbon footprint

Clare Watters, Sustainability Consultant with Investors in the Environment

Clare is an environmental consultant for Investors in the Environment, the national accreditation scheme designed to help organisations save money and reduce their impact on the environment. Clare has over ten years of experience within the sector and has worked with a range of businesses to help them implement environmental management systems and improve their environmental performance, including working as an Energy and Buildings Officer for a local authority.

Simon Alsbury, Co-founder and Managing Director, Energise Ltd.

Simon likes complexity and finding ways of making things simple. Since founding Energise with his wife Tamsin 13 years ago, Energise has worked with over 600 organisations delivering a wide range of energy/carbon/net zero programmes that’s overseen £35 million of measured energy/resource savings delivered for clients. Simon focuses on making the steps to addressing an organisation’s footprint both easy to understand and technically precise. Energise’s mission is to be the catalyst for 1% of the UK to reach Net Zero by 2025.
