Open Eco Homes helps people create beautiful, high functioning, low energy homes.
We find householders who have renovated or built new eco homes and help them to pass on their knowledge to visitors by organising tours in their homes over two days in September. The advice is local, independent and free.
We also run multiple workshops around the time of the open tours to help people build their skills and knowledge, as well as thermal imaging workshops in the winter. All the tours and workshops are free – but donations are always welcome and appreciated. Without them we couldn’t run the events. Bookings are essential and some houses book out very quickly.
