Get sponsored to take part in Veganuary in aid of CCF
There are many reasons to try vegan: it’s a whole new world of taste and flavour, it’s kind to animals, and of course, it massively reduces your carbon footprint. But sometimes we need a little help to give it a go.
So set yourself a challenge: try vegan for January to help CCF’s work to fight climate change, and get your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you.
If going totally vegan all month seems too hard, you can allow yourself some exceptions, so long as you tell your sponsors what those are. There are loads of tips, recipes and helpful hints on the Veganuary website
There are a couple of easy ways to collect sponsorship:
- Download and print the sponsorship form and ask your donors to fill in their details – and tick the Gift Aid box, if they can. Then you collect and pay in the money to CCF using our donate page. OR:
- Create your personal fundraising page for our Veganuary for CCF Event on Just Giving. This site does the hard work for you, sending the donations to us and automatically claiming Gift Aid on donations – that’s an extra 25% at no extra cost to you or your supporters
Then invite your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. Christmas get togethers can be a great time to do this, but personal contact and social media also work well. There are some good tips on how to get sponsorship here and here. Remember you can carry on getting sponsorship until 31 January 2019.
Before the new year, make your preparations: stock up on your favourite plant based foods and finish up your cheese!
Do share your pictures and tell us and your friends how you’re getting on using #vegan4ccf
