Cambridge Carbon Footprint's AGM - Fostering hope and taking action

Cambridge Carbon Footprint’s AGM – Fostering hope and taking action

Wed 20 Sep 2023, 7:00pm – 9:00pm

With the climate crisis accelerating at an even faster rate than scientists predicted and anxiety about it at an all time high, it can be hard to stay positive and take action. That’s why CCF’s legacy of inspiring and supporting people, organisations and businesses to act on their concerns is more vital now than ever. In 2022 we really cracked on with it and organised or supported an incredible 87 events! From running climate leadership programmes like Net Zero Now and Shrink Your Footprint to establishing new Repair Cafes, hosting Cambridge’s first Imaginarium and inviting hundreds of people to tour Open Eco Homes, it’s been busier than ever. In 2023 our new Outreach Team started regularly popping up all over the city to discuss environmental issues with shoppers. The staff team has doubled.

Please join us for our AGM to hear some good news about what’s been achieved locally and share your thoughts about what we do and what we might do differently. We know there’s a huge amount of knowledge and expertise in the city and surrounds – please come with suggestions that might shape our work.
