There was such a buzz at the November Skillsfest. With workshops on so many things such as: draught-busting, baking German Christmas cookies, preparing your fruit and veg patch for winter, composting, cycle maintenance, making creams and balms (aka “Lotions and Potions”), needle-felting, making Deep South Biscuit (from the southern USA), wood-burning stoves, upcycling t-shirts and jeans, knitting, singing and more!

Note: There were family activities (for all ages) including making a bowl out of Autumn leaves, juggling, and making origami peace cranes from recycled paper. As well as a very successful swap-shop (i.e. a bring and take area) and a cafe with delicious cakes, run by the Cafe Project.

Many thanks to the Transition Cambridge team, which went to great efforts in organising this event, through the Greeniversity skillshare programme, and with help from Cambridge Carbon Footprint and the Cafe Project.
