Solar panels, sedum green roofs, wood-burning stoves, solid and
cavity wall insulation, ground source heat pumps, in-home electricity
generation, and many other energy smart measures.
15 homes in and around Cambridge open their doors to show what can be done
to make low energy homes to a wide range of budgets. Homes include old and new,
big and small, and are warm and comfortable while economical in energy use.
Home owners are enthusiastic about changes they’ve made, and are happy to
share their experiences, ideas, costings and excitement.
