The Cambridge Climate & Sustainability Forum is an all day event full of talks, debates, workshops and discussions. This year’s conference includes speakers Dame Barbara Stocking (ex-CEO of Oxfam) and Stephen Tindale (ex-head of Greenpeace UK.) The theme is “Climate Change, Culture Change” and will encourage people to consider climate change from new perspectives. Speakers will address its interactions with poverty, governance and economics.
CCF’s workshop is between 13:15 -14:00hrs and is part of the overall programme for the whole day. You’ll need a ticket (£10-£35).
Title: Your low carbon food choices
This talk and discussion will explore the changes we can make to lower the carbon impact of the food we eat.
Jane Heal, the workshop leader, has been collaborating with CCF for a number of years after retiring from Cambridge University’s Philosophy Faculty. She is particularly interested in the challenges and rewards of changing culture.
