Spring gardeners gathering. As daylight increases the growing season will be in fulll swing. We will look at the variety of spring jobs – ranging from sowing tender veg, identifying and controlling weeds and pests and discussing any other gardening issues.

Carbon Calculator training session

This session is for people who would like to help on Cambridge Carbon Footprint stands at public events, including the Many Voices, One World Festival on March 21st.  As well as going over how to calculate carbon footprints using the laptop calculator, we will also be looking at how to use the pledge abacus to encourage people to take carbon-reducing actions.

An afternoon celebrating the work of Cambridge’s diverse faiths and cultures on climate change, social justice and carbon reduction. Inspiring speakers, films and workshops on the ‘home and away’ connections. Traditional dance, choirs, storytelling, food. Practical displays, games, competitions and activities on how to make real carbon reductions. Organised by our Akashi Project.
