A workshop on talking about climate change: at stalls, talks and workshops, at work and home, with family, friends and neighbours. We will explore how to:
- Get people talking, draw out their concerns, help them connect with the issue
- Make carbon reduction feel relevant, achievable and enjoyable
- Understand and deal with people’s objections and doubts
- Deal with difficult questions, awkward interviewees and climate change deniers

| 5 February 2009 |
| 7:30 pm | to | 9:00 pm |
Led by Dr. Helen Odell-Miller.
This workshop will explore our hopes and fears about climate change through music. Music therapy can help us access thoughts and feelings which might be hard to put into words. Used in a group it can be a gentle but powerful way to explore experiences. The workshop will use a variety of instruments, voice and listening, but you do not need any musical skill in order to participate.
Dr. Odell-Miller is a music therapist and Director of the Music Therapy MA at Anglia Ruskin University, specializing in Group Music Therapy.
