CCF at Mill Road Winter Fair
We regularly have a stall at public events in Cambridge and the surrounding villages. We offer activities for children and adults to engage them in conversation about climate change and carbon reduction, and encourage them to participate in our other projects, particularly Carbon Conversations, Open Eco Homes and Climate Friendly Homes. We also use the opportunity to publicise our forthcoming events.
CCF at the Chesterton Festival
We provide an evening’s training for volunteers interested in helping out at stalls, with training on how to communicate about climate change and how to use the footprint calculator and carbon abacus. It is recommended (although not essential) that you do this training before helping on a stall.
We are always looking for volunteers to:
- help at the stall with bringing things along, setting up and taking down
- become a lead volunteer to help to organise things (stalls experience necessary for this)
