Breaking Barriers: equality, inclusion and climate change CANCELLED

Climate change messages are frequently of the ‘one size fits all’ variety. How does it feel if you don’t fit the assumptions? How can we take account of everyone in the way we speak and the solutions we offer?

Kirsty Wayland is a wheelchair user who is passionate about climate change. She is also Cambridge University’s Disability Equality Training Office and a facilitator of Carbon Conversations groups.

Growing Your Own Workshop – Organic Allotment Visit

Venue: Meet at the entrance to the allotments on Coldhams Lane opposite Vinery Way – please be prompt!

A chance to meet fellow gardeners, share your gardening successes and failures, and pick up some seasonal tips and inspiration with local gardener and allotment holder Keith Jordan and former Trinity College Head Gardener George Thorpe. All levels of gardening experience are welcome!

Special to this session: Visit to an allotment with a fantastic variety of crops, soft fruit, apples, pears and a great selection of vegetables – peas, beans, salad crops, courgettes, potatoes and much more.

Sessions are free of charge and open to all.
