Are you up for a fun food challenge? Have you been thinking about making some healthier and more sustainable changes to your diet? Are you looking for something to give up for Lent this year?

If any of these apply to you then look no further! Join us for the 5:2 Good Food Challenge: our biggest and best food challenge yet and the latest event in our Food for a Greener Future series.

The challenge is simple: eat vegetarian or vegan two days a week for 40 days.

In response to feedback from our recent Food for a Greener Future Conference, including many personal pledges to eat less meat and dairy, we’ve decided to launch this brand new challenge this Lent. This challenge is our way of helping people to accomplish their pledges, and get the help and support they need along the way.

We believe this challenge is an opportunity to experience something life-changing and we want to invite you to take part. You can take part in the challenge either as an individual or as part of a group. Maybe your friends, family or colleagues would like to join you on the challenge? The more the merrier! This way you can exchange recipes and tips, or join each other on specific days for a veritable veggie feast.

We’ll be trying to bring everyone together as much as possible, so even if you don’t join as a group you can find support through be our food blog, a Facebook group and a big bring and share veggie meal. And if that wasn’t reward enough, by signing up you’ll go into a monthly draw to win a £20 voucher to Fitzbillies Restaurant!

So what are you waiting for? Sign up and help yourself to some food that is good for you and great for the planet!
